I'll dominate 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
