A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, passed away this week following a recent disclosure of a uncommon leukemia diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Passing
The sad news was confirmed in a online announcement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Details of the Diagnosis
As detailed in a recently published piece in November, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a uncommon variant.
This form of cancer is a malignancy that originates in the blood and bone marrow.
